Pages are the backbone of your website. Pages are one of the 2 default types of content you can create in WordPress. The other type is Posts.
Pages are are used for the main pages of your website. These will likely be pages like Homepage, About Page, Services, Contact Page, etc.
Adding Pages
To Add a new Page, first Login to your website.
Basic
- Go to Pages in the left Sidebar
- Click Add New
- Give your Page a Title
- Add your content
- Give your Page a Featured Image – this helps with SEO and Social Sharing, even if that image does not appear on the actual page.
- Set the Page Parent (if required)
- Click Publish (if you want your Page to be visible by the public immediately) or Save Draft (if you would like to save progress and continue working on this page later)
